The Tony Perkins Basketball Academy Camps have become synonymous with hard work, great fun, expert instruction and encouraging proper discipline for improvement in all phases of the game. Perkins’ emphasis is TEACHING: to provide each camper with knowledge of the game, personal skill development and techniques for self-discipline in maximizing the players’ skills during a fun-filled, challenging, and competitive week of basketball activity.
FUNDAMENTAL TEACHING CAMP
This camp offers an opportunity for all athletes, regardless of age or ability level, to participate in an exciting week of basketball training and game participation.
To maximize learning, all campers are evaluated and placed within groups of similar ability, regardless of age. Throughout the camp week, campers may transition to another group level, should their talent dictate.

Camp activities include detailed fundamental instruction, lectures on proper offensive and defensive techniques, as well as individual and team competition. All campers are grouped according to age and ability. Check-in will take place on the first day of camp between 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM, and the camp runs from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM daily. Campers can be dropped off as early as 8:30 AM.
Tony Perkins Basketball Academy Summer Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by age, grade level, gender and/or number of spots available for each session. Camp director has the right to refuse a camper.
