Program Director Tony Perkins is considered one of the most influential people in youth basketball in the state of Florida. Tony has coached elite-level youth and High-School and Club/AAU Basketball across Florida for 25+ years. His distinguished career has produced numerous NCAA Division I athletes and Professional Basketball players.
Tony began his coaching career in 1993 after graduating from St. Thomas University. He coached at National Powerhouse program Monsignor Edward Pace High School under the tutelage of legendary coach Mark Lieberman. In 2006 and 2007, the program captured back-to-back FHSAA State High School Basketball Championships.
In 2003, Perkins founded Tony Perkins Basketball Academy in Immokalee, Florida. In 2006, he was approached by Nike-sponsored South Florida Heat program Director Mrs. Pat Stevens to join forces and coach their Elite U16 team that became a powerhouse on the national scene, producing several very talented prospects.
His detailed player development approach to coaching and guiding athletes has become the cornerstone of success and national reputation.

Our criteria or selection process for choosing coaches is evident in all of our coaches' appearance, demeanor, and interaction with your child. All Directors and Coaches must be USA Basketball Certified.
